Five Fairs to Check Out This Weekend
If you're willing to drive, there's lots to do around the St. Louis area.
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at in Foristell.
Why Go: The Renaissance Faire promises to be fun, entertaining and education for the entire family. The Faire is especially proud of several new educational offerings this year: the Hospitaller Knights encampment, the Viking camp and longboat display and the wood collier camp.
Pricing: Range from $7.95-$14.95.
Where/When: E. Lockwood and N. Bompart Ave. in the heart of Webster Groves; 6-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
Why Go: Check out the amazing works of art by juried artists plus there's plenty of food, musical entertainment and creative activities for the family.

2011 KIMMSWICK STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Where/When: Kimmswick, MO is about 20 miles south of St. Louis off of Highway 55; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
Why Go: John Lennon could have penned 'Strawberry Fields Forever' about Kimmswick. It's all about the strawberries: fresh or chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, strawberry ice tea and more! Festivities include musical entertainment, a petting zoo and rides for the kids. Plan ahead and mark your calendar for the huge Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival in October.

BALLWIN DAYS
Where: Ballwin Days will be held 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday in Vlasis Park in Ballwin.
Why go: Enjoy games, rides, great food, fireworks, and live music.
Pricing: Admission is free. The cost of a single ticket for rides is $1, a sheet of 22 tickets is $20.
Where: The Hazelwood Community Enrichment Commission is hosting its 8th Annual Community Art Fair and Used Book Sale on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at Hazelwood Community Center, 1186 Teson Road in White Birch Park.
Why go: Pick up some used books, meet local artists and buy some art.
Pricing: Admission is free.
