St. Louis Wind Symphony Patriotic Concert

  • When/Where? Friday, June 29 at 7 p.m. at the , 520 N Main Ctr, St. Charles.
  • What? Start your Fourth of July celebrations with the Saint Louis Wind Symphony, as they play patriotic tunes. Cost is $5. Doors open at 6 p.m. For tickets or more information, call 636-255-0270.

  • When/Where? Friday, June 29 at 8 p.m. at 3544 Galt House Dr, Saint Charles.
  • What? New Town shows outdoor movies during the summer in the amphitheatre. Show starts at sundown. This Friday, bring the family out for Kung Fu Panda 2.

Saturday Writers Monthly Meeting

  • When/Where? Saturday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at the _, 1 Saint Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters.
  • What? The Saturday Writers chapter of the Missouri Writers' Guild hosts a monthly meeting, where local writers can network and learn from one another. Each meeting features a guest speaker and visitors are welcome. 

Patriotic Celebration at First United Methodist Church

  • When/Where? All day on Sunday, July 1 at , 801 1st Capitol Dr., St. Charles.
  • What? The church will sing "America, God Shed His Grace on Thee" and honor veterans during all three services on Sunday.

  • When/Where? Show starts at 8 p.m. on June 29 and 30 and 2 p.m. July 1 with an opening act starting 30 minutes before showtime. 
  • What? Head to Frontier Park in St. Charles for a showing of Shakespeare's As You Like It, a story set in 1599 in the Forest of Arden. Four couples court in this play which features women in disguise, dueling brothers, and a professional fool who falls for an ugly goatherd.
