Lindenwood University to Build Storage Facility
Planning and Zoning approved a site plan for facility, a conditional use permit for a

St. Charles Planning and Zoning Comission approved several items during the April 23 meeting.
- The comission approved a plan for a new maintenance building for that will be built between and the baseball field. The facility will replace the metal shed on Tompkins Street and will be used to store landscape vehicles like lawnmowers.
- A conditional use permit for a group living arrangement for four individuals with developmental disabilities was approved by the commission unanimously. The group home is located on 3 James Drive. support staff would provide 24-hour services for people who are renting the home. The conditional use is valid for one year, and then Emmaus Home must apply for an extension.
- The commission approved a site plan for construction business located at New Town Blvd. The business would have a 7-foot tall privacy fence which would screen the storage areas from the road.
