Local Church Plans to Help Residents with Annual Home Makeover Project

Applicants must apply for assistance by March 14.

A local church is planning a spin on the "Extreme Home Makeover" TV show with a home makeover project for local residents in April and May.

Members of St. Charles Assembly of God church will paint, clean, landscape and do other home repairs for community members in a two-day service event set for April 21 and May 12.

Community members who live in St. Charles or Warren Counties can apply for help on the church website or in person at . Applications are due March 14.

Last year church members helped families in five homes. “This effort is just one of the many ways the church works to puts its beliefs into action in order to make a positive impact on its community,” Pastor Sarah Clark of St. Charles First Assembly of God said in a press release.
