Man Charged with Illegally Possessing Firearm
St. Charles Police said the man was drunk and loading the .22 cal Magnum.

A St. Peters man was charged Monday with unlawful possession of a firearm.
said in a report that Gabriel Kinder, 31, of the 1500 block of Garden Valley in St. Peters, was drunk and was loading a .22 cal Magnum handgun. Six people saw him loading the weapon in the 2400 block of Falcons Way in , police said.
After police arrived, they discovered that it was illegal for Kinder to possess a firearm. He had been convicted of a second-degree assault in 2002, and was found guilty of illegally possessing a firearm in 2008.

Bond was set at $10,000.
