MoDOT to Close Two Lanes on Route 370

Two of three lanes on westbound Route 370 will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday between Earth City Expressway and Route 94.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and contractor Concrete Strategies will be doing for pavement repairs on the road during the the weekend of July 15-18.

Jack Wang, spokesman for MoDOT said in some areas they are going to be doing fairly extensive pavement repairs in the area, which is why the repairs are scheduled for the weekend. 

"On a weekend there's less traffic," he said. "It also allows the crews to that extra window to get it done before Monday."

During these lane closures, the entrance ramp from Earth City Expressway to westbound Route 370 will be closed. Lanes are expected to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

Other roadwork this weekend in St. Charles County:

• I-70, St. Charles County, midnight to 7 a.m. Saturday, two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94.
• I-70, St. Charles County, midnight. to 8 a.m. Sunday, two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94.

• I-70, St. Charles County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, two lanes closed eastbound between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94.
• I-70, St. Charles County, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, two lanes closed westbound between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94.
