Morning Exchange: Presidents Day

St. Charles Patch brings you a look at the week ahead.

Good morning! Today is Presidents Day, a national holiday that celebrates the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. 

Some things to know about this week: 

  • St. Charles Area Transit System will not operate today.
  • Francis Howell and St. Charles School Districts are closed today, but Orchard Farm School District is in session.
  • Tom Evers, project manager for MoDOT, will meet with city council members and the public at 5:30 p.m. at Ameristar Casino Feb. 22 to answer questions about the closure of the I-70 Blanchette Bridge. Look for a story from us about this project on Tuesday. 
  • Saturday marks the date of the annual Mardi Gras parade through Frenchtown. The parade starts at 3 p.m. 
  • The will be at the St. Charles Convention Center all weekend.
