A man was charged Monday with stealing a bicycle in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. said in a report that Dwayne L. Gibson, 20, of the 600 block of Clark Street in St. Charles, entered a detached garage on Jefferson and stole a 2007 Cannondale bicycle valued at $500 and a bicycle pump valued at $50. However, police said Gibson also left his wallet at the scene. When he was arrested later, he identified himself as Eric Farrar and signed fingerprint and property sheets as Eric Farrar.
