Police Blotter: Bank Account Fraud Leads to Missing $2,700

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary 

  • An unknown subject forced open a basement storage room door at Bee Jay Drive and stole shelving.
Stealing
  • A customer left without paying for $32 worth of gas. 
  • A customer left without paying for $44 worth of gas. 
  • A tool box was stolen from an unlocked car.
Driving While Revoked
  • A subject was arrested for driving while suspended and warrant arrest on Interstate 70 near the bridge.
Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • A male was arrested for possession of marijuana at Pralle Lane and First Capitol Drive on June 8. 
Fraud
  • Fraud was committed on a victim's bank account—$2,726 was taken.
