Police Blotter: Shoplifters Caught Trying to Steal $1,300 Worth of Merchandise from Walmart

Stealing
  • Police responded to a report of theft from a motor vehicle—$35 worth of items were stolen from unlocked vehicles overnight. 
  • Two cell phones  an iPhone 5 and a Samsung Galaxy 3, were stolen from unlocked vehicles overnight at Kettering Drive. 
  • A shoplifter stole numerous items, valued at $1,359, from Walmart. Among the items taken were clothes, underwear, a toothbrush, food and more. Subjects arrested. Warrant application will be made.
  • Stolen bicycles recovered near 1800 block of Santa Clara. Three juveniles charged with possession of stolen property.
  • Minor theft from unlocked, parked vehicle overnight. 100 block of Greendale.
Fraud
  • The victim's credit card number was used to make online purchase at Newegg.com.
Drug Possession
  • One subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and the other subject for possession of marijuana at Trails Of Sunbrook on June 23. 
Robbery
  • Assault and robbery took place in the 2300 block of Fox Chase—$75 was taken.
