Police Blotter: Subject Arrested for Possession of Marijuana After Being Discovered Urinating on Sidewalk

Urinating in Public

  • A subject was arrested for urinating on the sidewalk in front of Lloyd and Harrys on March 7. Marijuana was then located and the subject was subsequently charged and held on bond.

  • A traffic stop on March 7 at S. Kingshighway and First Capitol Drive led to the discovery that a driver was wanted for traffic warrant.

Possession Open Container

  • A suspicious vehicle at W. Adams Street and Ken Drive on March 7 revealed a passenger with open container. Subject was placed under arrest after interfering with investigation and open container. During arrest process, subject resisted arrest. The subject was arrested and charged.

  • An unknown suspects gained entry into a residence under construction, cutting the copper gas line to the residence and removing the gas line. The estimated property loss was set at $548. The incident occurred at Towerbridge Place on March 6. 

Property Damage

  • A vehicle gas tank at Honey Locust Lane was damaged by a drilling device on March 7.
  • There was damage to a gas tank underneath the carriage at Honey Locust Lane.

Stealing

  • A victim dropped her ring on the parking lot at the Circle K convenient mart while pumping gas. Someone unknown then stole said ring. The ring was valued at $6,500.
  • Property was taken from inside a parked vehicle while on the Walmart lot on March 7. The estimated property loss was $240.
  • Police responded to a theft of items from a building in the 200 block of N. Kingshighway. The estimated property loss was $70. 

Assault 3rd Degree

  • A juvenile assaulted an adult, screamed profanities and numerous threats, including threats to kill several people. The incident occurred on March 7 at Zumbehl Road.
