Police Blotter: Teen Steals Bike from Younger Child

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • The rear door to a business at S. 5th street forced and money from the cash drawer was taken.
Stealing
  • A bicycle was stolen from carport in the 800 block of Ferguson Street. 
  • U.S. currency, $1,200, was taken in the 400 block of Canary. 
  • Leave Without Pay occurred in the 1000 block of S. 5th Street. A customer failed to pay for $51 worth of gas. 
  • Victim's vehicle broke into while parked in the rear of the 200 block of North Main. Victim's purse was stolen out of the vehicle.
Property Damage
  • Windows were damaged in a vacant home at Broadway Avenue.
Possession Open Container
  • A subject was arrested for drinking in public in the 200 block of N. Main Street. 
Robbery
  • A teenager shoved a younger boy off his bike and stole it.
