Police Blotter: Victim Gives Person a Ride, Person Steals Prescription Medication

The following information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Stealing

  • Five dollars worth of change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at N. 4th Street on June 6. 
  • The victim gave a ride to unknown subject who stole some of her prescription medication.
  • A purse was taken from backseat of a van in the 200 block of First Capitol Dr.

Burglary
  • A home was burglarized in the 500 block of Rebecca Drive. More than $3,000 worth of items, including jewelry, medication, a TV and a wedding ring, were stolen. 

Improper Parking
  • Vehicle towed for blocking the alley behind 1125 N. 4th Street.

Property Damage
  • Police took a report of property damage at 6 Otto Court. No suspects.

Assault
  • Two subjects were arguing in the 200 Block of N. Second. One subject pushed another. No prosecution desired.
