Burglar Steals TV from Culpeppers

  • A burglary was reported at Culpeppers on West Clay Street. Someone entered the restaurant throuhg a window and stole a 42 inch LCD TV valued at more than $50 around 5:20 a.m. Jan. 2.

  • A 29-year-old woman reported her rear driver's side window was broken out while parked at Corporate Hills Drive on Jan. 2. 
  • A 33-year-old woman saw that her tires were slashed and called police but then refused to give a suspect name. This happened overnight Jan. 3. 
  • A woman reported that a pig face had been spray-painted on the passenger door of her parked car on Cascades Drive on Jan. 4. 
  • Spray painted designs and lettering were found on various spots on wooden siding at two buildings in the Cascades Apartment Complex. This happened between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Jan. 4. 

Stealing

  • A purse was reportedly stolen from a bar on North Main Street on New Year's Eve.
  • A 21-year-old woman reported her iPhone was stolen from her purse while she was at a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street on New Year's Eve.
  • A 71-year-old man reported someone stole his mailbox and post from in front of his house on Glendale Avenue between 4:45 p.m. Dec. 2 and 11:45 a.m. Dec. 3. 
  • A trailer was reportedly stolen from Little Hills Industrial Blvd. between 8 p.m. Dec. 2 and 1:12 p.m. Dec. 3.
  • Scrap metal was removed from dumpsters near the 600 block of North Main Street. A chain link fence was also damaged. This happened overnight Jan. 2. 
  • Two suspects were arrested for till tapping at a shop in the 400 block of South main Street on Jan. 4.  
  • A motorcycle was reported missing from a business on West Clay Street during an inventory review on Jan. 4.

  • A 29-year-old woman reportedly was hit in the head with an ashtray that was thrown by someone on Jan. 4.
