Police Reports: Mom Leaves Daughter at McDonald's, Goes Grocery Shopping

St. Charles Police Reports are provided by the St. Charles Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A mother reportedly left her 6-year-old daughter at McDonald's playland on Zumbehl Road while she went to the grocery store and car wash, between 3 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Sept. 22. 

Resisting Arrest

• St. Charles Police arrested a man who was uncooperative after police repsonded to a complaint about a domestic violence incident. The man was arrested for resisting arrest and assault of an officer on Sept. 20 on Zumbehl Road.
• St. Charles Police arrested a man who was kicked out of a restaurant on Main Street around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 21. The man spit on police and resisted arrest. 

Assault

• A 21-year-old man reported he was punched in the face and his iPod was stolen around 3 p.m. Sept. 14 on Ameristar Blvd.
• A 25-year-old man said he was assaulted by unknown white males at Walgreens on South Fifth Street between 2:30 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. Sept. 22. 

Stealing

• A bike was reportedly stolen from the 400 block of Houston Street after 5 p.m. Sept. 14. 

Property Damage

• A 16-year-old reported her rear driver's side window was smashed out by unknown means while parked at South First Capitol Drive between 8 p.m. Sept. 21 and 11:38 p.m. Sept. 21. Nothing was missing.
• Someone jumped off the roof of a bar on North Main Street and damaged the awning Sept. 22 around 11:45 p.m.

Fighting

• Police arrested nine suspects who were fighting in the 123 block of North Main around 1:30 a.m. Sept. 22. 

Other

• A dog was reported running at large on McDonough Street at 10:31 a.m. Sept. 21. 
• A 22-year-old woman reported fraudulent use of a credit device on North Main Street on Sept. 19. 
• An intoxicated person was taken into custody after they were passed out on North Main around 10:20 p.m. Sept. 22.
