Natural Death
- Police investigated a death of an 85-year-old man on North 4th Street in St. Charles on May 29.
Assault
- A patient at SSM St. Joseph Health Center ripped out his IV and flung blood in the eye of a 46-year-old nurse around 9 p.m. May 26. According to the police blotter, the patient was angry after learning the hospital did not provide cab vouchers any more.

- Someone stole $50.02 worth of gasoline from on South First Capitol Drive around 5:20 p.m. May 28.
- A 24-year-old man said he had $120 in gift cards stolen from his room at on May 27. He reported the loss around May 29.
- Police stopped juveniles who stole items from unlocked vehicles in the area of Hawks Nest Drive and Lynnbrook Drive around 12:20 a.m. May 28. Among the items stolen was a GPS and GPS charger.
- A $200 GPS unit was stolen from a motor vehicle parked at Park Ct. on May 27 around 2 a.m. Police suspect two juveniles opened unlocked vehicles in the parking lot and stole items.
- Three people working together apparently stole seven purses from around 4:30 p.m. May 26.
- An amplifier valued at $350 was reportedly stolen from the yard.
- A motorcycle plate and tab were stolen between May 24 and May 26 while the motorcycle was parked at Crossbridge Ct. in St. Charles.
- A motor vehicle was reported stolen from a home at Lightfoot Drive in St. Charles between midnight and 5 a.m. May 26.
Arrest
- Police arrested two people on outstanding warrants after responding to a complaint about a disturbance between neighbors around midnight May 27.

- Police arrested someone for property damage that occurred in the 200 block of North 2nd Street.
- Someone tagged the outer stall wall of the bo with graffiti on May 28.
- Solar lights were moved at a home on Shireleaf Ct. between 10 p.m. May 25 and 6 a.m. May 26 and two were damaged in the process.
Harassment
- A 12-year-old girl was harassed and asked sexual questions by a male juvenile at on May 28, 2012.
Burglary
- A home in the 1400 block of Alberta Drive was broken into between May 25 and may 28. More than $1,700 in computer hardware and firearms were stolen.
