Police Reports: Man Arrested for Disturbing the Peace

St. Charles Police Reports April 1-3. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a 64-year-old man who was intoxicated and banging repeatedly on the door of a house on Sibley St. around 1 a.m. April 1, frightening the person who lived there. The man didn’t realize he wasn’t at his uncle’s house.

Car Stolen

  • A 2005 Ford Mustang was reportedly stolen from Dartmouth Ct. around midnight April 1.

  • Police arrested a man for driving while intoxicated the wrong direction of the highway on 370.

Stealing

  • A 22-year-old male reported a 1,000 Toshiba Laptop computer was stolen from his residence at Glenco Drive between 3 p.m. March 25 and 4 a.m. March 31.
  • Police arrested two people for eating at a restaurant on North Main Street and leaving before paying their $73 bill on April 1. A third person was identified.
  • A 23-year-old man reported his laptop and television were stolen from his house between 2 a.m. March 1 and 8:20 p.m. April 1.
  • Police took a shoplifter into custody after the woman stole make up, lip gloss, tweezers and nail polish from a business in the 2800 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Around 3:45 p.m. April 3.

  • A police arrested neighbor of a 50-year-old woman who lives in the 1700 block of West Randolph Street after the neighbor made threats toward the victim. The incident happened around 10 a.m. April 3.
