Police Reports: Man Arrested for Disturbing the Peace

Peace Disturbance

  • Police arrested a man for peace disturbance after they found him passed out in the sidewalk near the entrance to . When he awoke he began physically assaulting passing pedestrians. The incident happened around 12:50 p.m. June 23.

Stealing

  • Two juveniles were arrested by police for stealing from a vehicle on Louiston Ct. in St. Charles around 1 a.m. June 26. Items stolen included a GPS device and change. A witness identified the juveniles who were released to their parents.
  • A man, 37, reported his Dell laptop and GPS unit were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Galt House Drive between 6 p.m. June 22 and 4 p.m. June 24.
  • A 58-year-old man reported someone cut the lock off of his locker while he was working out and stole his wallet. The incident happened at a facility on Regency Parkway between 4 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. June 24.
  • A 47-year-old woman reported a burglary and stolen vehicle from the 3500 block of Tarn Street. The burglary was reported at 7:19 a.m. June 24.
  • A large brick mailbox was knocked over from a home in the first block of Pearblossom Court between 10:30 p.m. June 22 and 3:20 a.m. June 23. There were no tire marks in the yard. 

Protective Custody

  • Police took a man and woman into protective custody for being extremely intoxicated around midnight June 26 on First Capitol Drive. The man, 24, was later arrested for assaulting a booking officer and resisting arrest. 
  • Police took someone into protective custody after he was unable to get home from North Main Street around midnight June 24. He refused to take a cab home, according to St. Charles Police.

  • Someone threw rocks on windshields of two vehicles parked at Hughes Lane around 11:55 a.m. June 22. 

Fireworks

  • Police received a report of someone shooting off fireworks in the road on Eagle Pines Drive on June 24 at 9 p.m.

Warrant Arrest

  • Police arrested a bartender who had a warrant for his arrest from a bar on North Main Street around 10:49 p.m. June 23.
