Police Reports: Man Attacked in Alley on North Main Street

St. Charles Police Reports, July 19-22.

  • A thief broke into a car parked on New Town Boulevard and broke a window. A radar detector was reported stolen. The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. July 19. 
  • A 36-year-old man was attacked by three males in an alley on North Main Street on July 20 around 12:58 a.m.
  • A man ran from a cab after not paying the fare and breaking the driver window on South Fith Street around 2:50 a.m. July 20. The person resisted arrest when he was found hiding in a yard.
  • A thief broke windows out of four cars parked at Regency Parkway between 3:44 p.m. and 4:44 p.m. July 20. The thief stole wallets, radio or stereo equipment and money from the cars.
  • Police arrested someone who was harassing women on Main Street around 1:20 a.m. July 21. According to police, he was instructed to leave the area, but returned and was yelling and cursing. While being searched he attempted to jerk away from the police officer, who took the man to the ground. 
  • A man was arrested after a 39-year-old woman was assaulted at Bottleneck Blues Bar inside Ameristar Casino. 
  • Police arrested several people for fighting in public at North Second Street around 1:30 a.m. July 22.
