Soldier, Duchesne Grad, Killed in Tennessee

Sgt. 1st Class Frederick Moses was shot by a member of his unit.

A St. Charles County U.S. Special Forces soldier was killed after he was shot by a member of his unit last Thursday. 

Sgt. 1st Class Frederic N. Moses, 26, of St. Charles County was shot on Thursday in a neighborhood in Clarksville, TN. The shooter, Benjamin Schweitzer, stayed in the house until police arrive and shot an officer in the arm

Schweitzer was charged with criminal homicide, according to an article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Moses was stationed in Fort Bragg, KY and had served in the military for eight years. He was a 2003 graduate who enlisted in the army in 2004. H served three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, according to his obituary.

Moses is survived by his parents, Fred and Jeanie Moses, siblings, Daniel, Paul and Elizabeth Moses and Lara Hart and their spouses, neices and nephews.
