St. Charles Crime Reports
The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Attempted Robbery Reported
A 21-year-old man was reportedly threatened while walking home from a bar on Fairgrounds Road around 1:30 a.m. June 5. The victim said a red truck driven by a man in his 20s pulled up next to him. Two other men and a woman were in the truck. The driver asked the victim for a cigarette, then pulled out a folding pocket knife. The victim pulled out a cell phone to call 911, then dropped his cigarettes, money and phone. Police are investigating.
Thieves Take Electronics, Car
A house in the 900 block of Hawthorne was broken into sometime during the day on June 3. The thief broke in through French doors and stole a television, DVD player, stereo, iPod, mini refrigerator and a 2011 Mercury Mariner. The car was recovered in the city of St. Louis burned out, said Detective Sgt. Todd Wilson of the St. Charles Police Department.
Aircraft Shavings Taken Over Weekend
A 45-foot semi trailer filled with 5,200 pounds of alumnium aircraft shavings valued at $3,200 was reported stolen from a business in the 3600 block of New Town Boulevard sometime between midnight June 3 and the morning of June 6.

Cars Broken into on June 3
Overnight on June 3 a number of vehicles were broken into across the city. Those cars were parked 700 block of Park Court, the 1100 block of Park Court, 3000 block of Apple Blossom Lane, 3700 block of Silver Ridge, 2900 block of Bridle Spur Lane, 10 block of Alpine Ridge Court, 20 block of Alpine Ridge Court, 6 Alpine Ridge Court.
Police have two people in connection with some of the thefts and have are looking for more people who might be victims but did not report the items missing.
