St. Charles Man Sold Meth to Undercover Cop, Police Say

Police said the man sold meth twice to a Drug Task Force detective, and police found the drug while searching the man's home.

A man faces drug charges after detectives said he twice sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer.

Timothy Vincent, 31, of the 1500 block of Santa Margarita in , was Aug. 30 with two counts of selling a controlled substance and one count of meth possession.

A Drug Task Force detective reported that Vincent sold him meth for $50 on Aug. 24 and for $200 on Aug. 27, according to court documents. The substances field-tested positive for meth, police said.

Detectives and searched the home Aug. 29, and found a plastic bag with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Vincent attempted to buy pseudoephedrine products 42 times from Sept. 3, 2010 through Aug. 17 and was successful on 40 occasions, according to a task force report.

Bond was set at $30,000.
