St. Charles Police Reports: Nov. 23-30

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

  • Computers, money and clothing worth $980 were reported stolen from a home on Boones Lick Road between 2:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 12:45 a.m. Nov. 30.
  • A man reported his license plates were stolen while they were being serviced at Frenchtown Transmission between Nov. 17 and Nov. 29.
  • Several glass pipes were reportedly stolen from Glad Rags when someone smashed the front glass door to the building at Hawks Next Plaza between 3:45 a.m. Nov. 29 and 4:15 a.m. Nov. 29.
  • A woman reported that her phone charger, backpack, diamond earrings, keys, credit cards and wallet were stolen from her car parked on North Riverside Drive between 11:30 Nov. 26 and 1 a.m. Nov. 27.
  • Three people reportedly stole cologne form a store on Mexico Rd. at 7:39 Nov. 25.
  • A woman reported $2,070 worth of items including power tools, money, credit and debit cards were stolen from two cars on Florine Ct. between 11 p.m. Nov. 22 and 8 a.m. Nov. 23.
  • An unknown suspect entered a business on North Fifth Street and took an automobile diagnostic computer valued at $4,200 between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22 and 8:10 a.m. Nov. 23.
  • A purse was stolen from St. Peter Church on First Capitol Drive sacristy room closet between 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Nov. 23. The estimated property loss was valued at $158.
  • Jewelry and a laptop valued at $26,100 were reportedly stolen from a home at Brighton Way. The family left the house at noon and returned at 2:45 p.m Nov. 23.
  • A 56-year-old man’s helmet, leather gloves and Harley Davidson motorcycle were stolen from the rear parking lot of Tuner’s between 7:50 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Nov. 23.
  • A man stole 15 cartons of cigarettes from a store on South Drive over a two-week period between Nov. 2 and Nov. 14. The store had video of the suspect and license plate.

Fraud

  • A suspect used a fraudulent $50 bill at Wal-Mart at Veterans Memorial Parkway in St. Charles on Nov. 27.

  • A man reported his vehicle’s windshield was smashed in on Nov. 27.
  • A man reported damage to a window, possibly from a pellet gun, at his home at Willow Brook Ct. between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.

Dog Bite

  • A vicious dog reportedly bit the arm and wrist of a man on Dale Ct. around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 23.

Main Street St. Charles

  • A man was arrested for drinking in public and littering on the 100 block of North Main Street in St. Charles on Nov. 27.
  • A man was assaulted in front of Undertow after the bar closed on Nov. 26 at 1:35 a.m.
  • Q Bar reported someone left without paying the $36 bar tab.
  • A person who was seen urinating in public on North Main Street on Nov. 23 at 12:30 a.m. fled from police then  turned and “took an aggressive stance,” according to the police log. At that point the officer deployed his stun gun.
  • Police arrested someone for striking the police horse “Beau” with both hands around 1:06 a.m. Nov. 24. The subject was taken into custody.
  • A man was arrested by police after he refused to leave a bar on North Main Street and grabbed a bouncer and pulled him to the ground. After he was arrested, he assaulted the police officer, according to the police log.
  • A woman was actively assaulting her boyfriend outside of a bar on North Main Street in St. Charles at 1:25 a.m. Nov. 24.
  • A man was seen urinating on the outside metal tables of a bar on North Main Street around 2:02 a.m. Nov. 24. The man was taken into custody.
