St. Charles Police Reports: Subject Arrested After Slapping Police Horse, Fleeing Officers
Also in the St. Charles crime report, a stolen credit card was used to purchase $4,487 worth of good from Target.

St. Charles Police Department provides police reports from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, 2013. A charge does not indicate a conviction.
• Case No. 13000888: Drug/narcotic, drug equipment, fugitive at Regency Parkway. A subject was arrested for possession of controlled substance, paraphernalia and active warrants.
• Case No. 13000896: Possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, at S 5th Street. Traffic stop lead to discovery of marijuana.

• Case No. 13000898: Assault of a police animal and resisting arrest at N Main Street. Suspect slapped mounted patrol horse after bar closing on Main St. and then attempted to flee to avoid arrest.
• Case No. 13000899: Driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and assault of an officer at S 5th Street. Subject arrested for DWI/assault on a law enforcement officer/resisting arrest in the 1000 block of S. Fifth Street.

• Case No. 13000913: Fraudulent use of a credit device at Mexico Road. Victim had her wallet stolen out of her purse at St. Louis Bread Company as she exited the store. Her credit cards were used a short time later at Target for purchases totalling $4,487.82.
• Case No. 13000911: Stealing, purse-snatching, at Veterans Memorial Parkway. Subject held door for victim entering restaurant and followed the victim to their table and sat down behind the victim. When the victim went to the restroom, the subject took wallet out of victims purse and left restaurant.
• Case No. 13000912: Stealing, theft of motor vehicle parts, at Howell Street. One stolen plate and one stolen tab. Police have no suspect. The incident occurred between 1800 hours on Jan. 25 and Feb. 1. The vehicle was parked behind the 1100 block of Howell Street.
• Case No. 13000918: Stealing at Harry S Truman Blvd. A vehicle drove off without paying for $44 worth of gas.
• Case No. 13000916: Stealing at Cole Blvd. The victim wired $500 to an unknown male.
• Case No. 13000919: Harassment at Deerfield Drive. An ex-boyfriend was sending harassing text messages to ex-girlfriend (victim).
