St. Charles Summer Camps

• Petite Picasso's: A Beginning Art Experience for 3-5 year olds. Tuesday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., June 12-15, July 10-13 and July 31-Aug. 3. 
• Grade School Camps: Held 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. grades 1-3, cost $90/nonmember. Camp for 4-6 or 7-9 grade, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., cost $140/nonmember. Drawing and Painting Camp: Monday-Friday, June 18-22. All Media Camp: Monday-Friday, June 25-29. Sculpting Fun Camp: Monday-Friday, July 16-20. Performing Arts Camp: Monday-Friday, July 23-27.

St. Charles Parks Department 

• Day Camp: Camp is held at or and includes sports activities, crafts, field trips, swimming, games and cooking. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., from June 4 to Aug. 3. (No camp July 4). Cost is $85/week for residents, and $95/week for nonresidents. Sunrise camp 6:30-9 a.m. is $24/week and sunset camp 3-6 p.m. is $24/week. 

Shady Springs Camp

• Day Camp: Campers will have a chance to participate in a cookout, swim, do special art projects, participate in field trips and sports. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between May 29 and July 30. Cost is $95 for members, $115 for non members. Before and after care 6:30-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m., is an additional $40. Specialty camps include dance camp, pirate adventures camp, cheer camp, soccer camp, and aqua adventures camp.

Hands on History Camp

• History Camp: Campers ages 8-11 will explore history by learning 1800s era skills, crafts and history. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 4-8. Cost is $100, plus a $20 registration fee. 

Hope Montessori Academies Summer Camp

• Full and half day programs are offered along with before and after care from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Campers participate in sports, games, arts and crafts and daily field trips. Call 949-0709 for information and fees. 

St. Charles Community College Camps

• St. Charles Community College has a range of camps for kids ages 4 to 16 starting June 18 through Aug. 3. Cost ranges from $95 per week-long session to $225/week. Before and after care is offered from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Cost is $25 for either and $40 for both. Kids can take everything from cooking classes to lego robotics lessons, to web computing and computer game design. Project Runway camp and So You Think You Can Dance camp are also planned. 

Vetta Summer Camps

• Day Camp: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for children ages 5-12, cost is $125 a week. Camp runs May 29 to Aug. 17. 

St. Charles COPS Camps

• Challenge Overcome Persevere Succeed Camps: The COPS Camps are run by St. Charles Parks and Recreation Rangers, Police and Fire Departments. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 9-13 at . Cost is $80 per child. Before care is offered 7-9 a.m. for $15 and after care is 3-5:30 p.m. for $15. Parents must attend a mandatory parent meeting June 10 or 24 at 6 p.m. For more information, head here.
