Kids of the Week: Taylor Schwartz and Allison Schwartz

●      Whiz Kid's Age: Taylor 11, Allison 9

●      Whiz Kid's School: Orchard Farm School District

●      Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Taylor and Allison raised money to help a neighborhood family in need.

●      Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness:  Nominator Melissa Short said she chose to nominate the girls because they decided to help neighbors whose house was burned in a fire earlier this year. The family was displaced and lost most, if not all, of their belongings. The girls held a lemonade stand and ended up donating $350.

"They saw a need and acted on it without thinking about themselves," said Short. "They could have easily kept that money for themselves, but instead they helped a family in need."
