Weather Service: St. Charles Under Severe Thunderstorm Warning
The National Weather Service encourages area residents to prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for St. Charles and all of St. Charles County.
The warning remains in effect until 10 p.m. and the storm could produce quarter size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
According to the weather service, the impact could include minor damage to vehicles, roofs and window and tree limbs.
