Lager is a young St. Bernard who is between 5 and 7 years old who needs a home for the holidays.
Lager rescued him from a local shelter the day before he was going to be put to sleep.
Lager walks on a lead well, and lays on command. He is thin, but in good health and has had primary immunizations. He is free of heart worm.

Holly Haddox, owner of The Conservatory, put out the word that Lager needed a home and Five Acres Animal Shelter took him in. To learn more about Lager, visit him at the shelter between 2 and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, or noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
