23-Year-Old St. Louis Woman Raffaella Stroik Missing Since Monday
Stroik, a dancer with the St. Louis Ballet, was last seen at Whole Foods in Town and Country. Her car was found near Mark Twain Lake.
MISSOURI — State police are looking for a 23-year-old St. Louis woman who went missing Monday in rural Monroe County, according to a news release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Raffaella Maria Stroik's black Volkswagen Jetta was found abandoned in the parking lot of Mark Twain Lake State Park's Highway 107 boat ramp, said Highway Patrol Captain James Wilt.
Officials say Stroik is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weights approximately 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and normally wears her hair in a ponytail or braid. According to her Facebook profile, Stroik is a dancer at the St. Louis Ballet and a member of a young adult Catholic ministry. She is originally from South Bend, Indiana, and joined the ballet company in 2017.

Stroik was last seen at a Whole Foods Market in Town and Country, Missouri, about 20 minutes west of downtown St. Louis and more than two hours away from where her car was found. She was last seen with her hair in a ponytail, wearing an olive-green jacket, long pink scarf, navy blue pants with white zippers on the sides, and white tennis shoes.

State troopers and Missouri Department of Natural Resources park rangers are searching the area near where Stroik's car was found.
