Here are the top 3 stories in St. Louis today:
- Volunteers came together over the weekend to help clean up Penrose Street. The event was organized by St. Louis Earth Day Volunteers and George Washington Carver Farms to further its mission of creating urban farms in city neighborhoods. Volunteers cleaned up yard waste, trash, and debris. If you're interested in learning more or volunteering, you can find information about the organization here. (KMOV4)
- St. Louis residents should be on the lookout for a local family's trailer that helped them run their business. Rachel and Juan Balthazar run El Mandilon out of a food trailer, but it was reportedly stolen around Christmas time. According to the couple, the trailer is very distinctive. It is bright red, and the A/C box on top is broken. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis Zoo offers the perfect Valentine's Day gift for friends of animals. While supplies last, you can adopt a harbor seal! The adoption package available for $60 will help feed the zoo's seals. You will receive a harbor seal plush with your order. (KMOV4)
