
A Missouri Attorney General Office representatives will be in St. Charles County Thursday to provide information regarding the national mortgage settlement and to register those who might qualify to receive benefits under the program.
Attorney General Chris Koster said about $156 million is available to help Missourians who went through home foreclosures.
The public meeting here will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in Room 116 of the St. Charles County Administration Building, 201 North Second Street, St. Charles, 63301.

The national mortgage settlement applies to five of the nationβs largest banks: Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Ally Financial (GMAC).
Koster said if Missourians do not use the full $156 million, some of the funds could to go other states.
