Appliance and Electronics Retailer hhgregg Opening St. Peters Location

Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics store hhgregg announced on Tuesday it would be coming to .

The retailer is set to enter the St. Louis market with four stores. In addition to St. Peters, hhgregg will be opening stores in Chesterfield, Fenton and Fairview Heights. 

The St. Peters hhgregg will be located at 301 Costco Way. The address might not ring a bell, but residents may remember that building as the site of the old , which closed in 2011. 

A company spokesman told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that a concrete opening date is unknown, but all stores should be open by Labor Day weekend. The St. Peters store already has new signage out front, replacing the old Ultimate Electronics motif. 

With the new stores, hhgregg said it would be hiring 240 employees in the area, or 60 at each store. Individuals interested in applying for the open positions should visit the "Careers" section on hhgregg's website.
