Car Crash on Interstate 70 Ramp Injures One

A St. Peters woman was taken to the hospital after being involved in a two-car crash on Saturday afternoon.

A woman sustained extensive damage to her vehicle and was taken to the hospital with minorΒ injuriesΒ following a crash on Saturday afternoon.

Susan Connett-Jerrison, 56, was involved in a two-car collision on June 2 at the Cave Springs ramp heading onto I-70 Eastbound. TheΒ ο»ΏMissouri State Highway Department report Β saysΒ Connett-JerrisonΒ failed to yield and made a left turn in front of another driver. The front right orΒ Connett-Jerrison'sΒ 2002Β GMCΒ Sonoma struck the front of a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Kristina Weber, 36, of St. Peters.Β 

TheΒ collisionΒ between the two vehicles causedΒ Connett-Jerrison'sΒ car to overturn, causing extensive damage.Β St. Charles County Ambulance took connett-Jerrison to St. Joseph Health Center East in St. Charles.Β

Weber's vehicle sustained moderate damage, but was able to be driven from the scene. She was uninjured in the crash.
