CVS, 9 Home Occupation Requests on Agenda for Planning and Zoning Meeting
The St. Peters Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11.

The Fourth of July holiday pushed back the monthly meeting of the Planning and Zoning by one week.Β Now that the holiday has come and gone, the Commission is set to hit the chambers at the to tackle July's agenda.Β
Like most Planning and Zoning meetings, the agenda leans heavily toward home occupation permit requests. Nine applications were submitted to city staff for the permits. The businesses range from online book sales to construction. The nine business are:
- Quik Wit (online book sales)
- Mystic Hippo Media Publishers (author β book sales)
- Cool Pools Outdoor Living (swimming pool service)
- Marlena Babysitting (babysitting)
- Stitches by Sharon (embroidery)
- All-Nu Exteriors, Inc. (home improvement)
- Tablet Elf (internet sales of tablet PCs and laptops)
- 2Q Solutions, LLC (marketing consulting)
- KJB Construction (construction)
In addition to tackling the home occupation requests, the commission will have a public hearing related to a request to change zoning. Thomas M. Tierney is requestingΒ a change of zoning from the C-2 CommunityΒ Commercial District to a Commercial Planned District (CPD) to allow C-2 District permitted usesΒ and the sale of used merchandise. The proposed site is located on the westΒ side of Church Street, north of Mexico Road (427 South Church Street).
