Elderly Woman Killed in Fatal Car Crash

An elderly woman died Saturday afternoon in a car crash on Williott Road and Crescent Hills in St. Peters.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Ruth Thimmig, 91, died following the crash just after 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Post-Dispatch reports details of the crash are sketchy. 

The Post-Dispatch report said Thimmig was a passenger in a Chevrolet. That car collided with a Honda after the Honda crossed the center line. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition. The Honda driver, 42, was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Post-Dispatch reports an accident re-constructionist is assisting St. Peters Police in their investigation of the fatal crash.
