Get Out: St. Peters Tree Lighting, Dancing and More

• What? The city of St. Peters will kick off the holiday city with it's tree lighting ceremony. Lindenwood's Voices Only, the St. Peters Choral Society, and Fort Zumwalt East High School's Orchestra will perform. This year's free holiday movie is The Muppet Christmas Carol. 

SCC Community Theatre Presents "The 39 Steps"

• When/Where? 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at , 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville. 
• What? St. Charles Community College (SCC) Center Stage Theatre puts on a production of “The 39 Steps,”  at the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on campus. Tickets are $6-$8 for this Tony Award-winning mystery with a touch of humor.

Holiday Open House and Shopping Experience

• When/Where? Friday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at , 1701 North 2nd St. in St. Charles.
• What? Connections to Success hosts an evening of food, drinks and fun. The vendors include Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Partylite and more. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Dress for Success Midwest.

Holiday Arts and Crafts Show at St. Charles Convention Center

• When/Where? Friday through Sunday at the , 1 Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles. 
• What? The Treasure Chest Holiday Craft and Gift Show features vendors selling handmade gifts just in time for the holiday season. The event is Nov. 18 from 2-7 p.m.; Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking and admission are free.

O'Fallon Historical Society Hosts Old Time Dance

• When/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at 
• What? Guests are invited to learn dance steps from the 1800s, and enter a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Tickets are $10 at the door and cover refreshments. All proceeds benefit the O'Fallon historical Society. The event is open to guests in high school or older.

Play the Night Away at O'Fallon YMCA 

• When/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 from 7-10 p.m. at , 3451 Pheasant Meadow Dr.
• What? Kids ages six to 13 are invited to come climb the rock wall at O'Fallon YMCA. Cost is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Activities include swimming, crafts, games and more. Snacks are available for purchase. Visit the YMCA website or call 636-379-0092 for more information. 

11th Annual Turkey Trot 

• When/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8:30 a.m. at , 2577 W. Meyer Rd. in Wentzville. 
• What? Wentzville's annual Turkey Trot is open to nine age groups and includes both a 5K and one-mile walk/run. The first 150 entrants for the Turkey Trot will receive an official T-shirt and all participants have the chance to win a turkey for their Thanksgiving feast. Winners of the 5K run in each age group will receive awards. The top three overall males and females will also receive awards. Entry is $25 on race day. Visit the city's website for more information. 

Blind Turkey Toss Disc Golf 

• When/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Quail Ridge Park , 5501 Quail Ridge Parkway in Wentzville
Using baskets lined with glow sticks to mark the course, a shotgun start will begin the 18-hole contest. Contestants compete for cash prizes and trophies. There is also a blind toss, and the person closest to the basket wins a frozen Thanksgiving turkey. The tournament is open to the first 72 registered contestants. Registrations will be accepted from 4:30-5:15 p.m. on Saturday at Shelter #2 inside the park. The entry fee for is $10 per person. Fun and Frolic Horse Show

• Whent/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at the , 6880 Lake Saint Louis Blvd. in Lake St Louis. 
• What? This free event offers a variety of horse show classes, including halter classes, English and Western Pleasure, gaited, ranch horse and barrel racing. Each show in the series has a Fun Class that is different for each show.

DJ Skate in St. Peters

• When/Where? Friday, Nov. 18 from 7-9 p.m. at , 5200 Mexico Rd. in St. Peters.
• What? Bring the kids out on to skate while DJ Funk Master plays the latest hits. Children can also enjoy games and prizes. Cost is Rec-Plex admission plus $3 for skate rentals. 

St. Peters City Centre Dance 

• When/Where? Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at , 1 Saint Peters Centre Blvd.
• What? Adults get out and enjoy live band music from all eras. Advance tickets can be purchased at City Hall and are $6, and $7 at the door.

Private Shopping Event at Charming Charlie

• When/Where? Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at 1 Meadows Circle Dr. in Lake Saint Louis.
• What? Bring the girls out for a day of shopping for a good cause. Hosted by Charming Charlie fashion accessory boutique and sponsored by The Sparrow’s Nest Maternity Home, this event will be closed to the public. All attendees will receive a 20 percent off coupon towards their purchases and free refreshments. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $3 for kids younger than 12. They are available online or at the door on the night of the event. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit The Sparrow’s Nest Maternity Home.
