Letter to the Editor: Iowa Family Wants Stolen Pictures Returned
An Iowa family had many items taken from their car while dining in St. Peters. The family is asking for the thieves to return the stolen pictures.

We were recently in the area, in fact we were returning to Des Moines, Iowa, from a family reunion in Florida whenΒ we took our 3 grandsonsβages 4, 8 and 9βplus their mother, our oldest daughter, so that the boys could have some summer fun.Β We did the beach in the Daytona area, then to Anna Marie Island beach, then onto Legoland because the boys love Legos.
We stopped at restaurant off of Interstate 70 on Veterans Memorial to eat around 5:30 p.m. Our vehicle was broken into. It was locked up, as we had purchased several items for the grandsons. The thieves took everythingβlibrary books, Legos, backpacks with stuffed animals, Nintendo DS games, checkbooks, cash and cameras.
To the people who broke into our vehicle Thursday, July 5, 2012 between 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m.: Can we please have the chops back that were in the cameras there were over more than 400 pictures taken at our reunion, the beaches and Legoland. There are so many memories on these pictures. Our grandsons would forgive you.
