St. Peters Man Charged with Burglary

A St. Peters man on probation for drug possession was charged Thursday with attempted burglary.

Drew Sherrow, 20, of St. Peters, cut the screen from a window in the 4100 block of Elkhart Lake Road in St. Charles County March 18, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report. He started to reach in the window when a resident caught him.

The suspect ran off, but a footprint outside the house matches his footwear, Sheriff’s deputies report.

The victim’s car also had been searched and had a broken glove compartment door.

Sherrow was on probation for drug possession charges.
