St. Peters Man Uninjured in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 94

A man avoided injury in a July 27, two-car crash on Highway 94.

Dan Belter, 62, was involved in the crash around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27. According to the crash report, 28-year-old St. Charles resident Kelli Boennighausen traveled through a red traffic signal on Highway 94 at Portwest Drive. The front of Belters' 2011 Mercury Police Interceptor struck the right rear of Boennighausen's 2003 Toyota Corolla.

The impact of the collision caused Boennighausen's vehicle to slide and strike a light pole. 

Boennighausen sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County Ambulance. 

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage in the crash. Belter was able to have his driven from the scene.
