St. Peters Police Blotter: Gun Flourished After Traffic Altercation

β’ Incident No.Β 19110: Burglary, 4000 block of McClay Road. An unknown person damaged screen on church window. It appeared the suspect attempted to open the locked window, but was unable to gain entry. No suspect(s) at this time.

β’ Incident No.Β 19126: Weapons violations, McClay/Jungermann Road. The reporting party told police the subject flourished a gun at him after a traffic altercation. St. Peters Police officers spoke with subject and he stated he did display a handgun, but it was never pointed in the reporting parties direction. He stated the reporting party was the aggressor in the traffic altercation and was in fear of his life. Once the reporting party saw the weapon, he got back into his vehicle and contacted our department. This case was sent to St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney's Office for their review.
