St. Peters Police Blotter: O'Fallon Man Arrested for Copper Wire Thefts
An O'Fallon man, Joshua Middleton, is charged with 27 counts of Burglary 2nd degree and one count of a Theft/Stealing of over 500 dollars.
The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.
• Incident No. 01215: Burglary, 100 block of Jane Drive. Copper piping stolen from foreclosed house.
• Incident No. 01274: Burglary, first block of Sweetbriar Court. Same as above—a vacant home was burglarized for copper piping.

• Incident No. 01278: Burglary, first block of Danson Drive. Copper piping and air conditioning unit were stolen from vacant home.
• Incident No. 01284: Burglary, 200 block of Mill Run Lane. Copper piping was stolen.

An O'Fallon man, Joshua Middleton, has been arrested and charged in all four cases. The St Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Middleton for 27 counts of Burglary 2nd degree and one count of a Theft/Stealing of over 500 dollars. He is being held at the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Office Jail with a $50,000 dollar bond.
According to O'Fallon Police, Middleton, 23, admitted to burglarizing vacant foreclosed homes in O’Fallon and the surrounding area.
