The Daily Dose: Ash Wednesday Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Feb. 22, 2012 edition.

In case you're not a religious person, you may not be aware that today is Ash Wednesday.Β

I had a friend in college, who shall remain nameless, that asked another friend why everyone had dirt on their forehead. He was pretty embarrassed when he was corrected that it wasn't dirt and, in fact, part of a religious ceremony. So that's today's public service announcement: if you see a mark on someones forehead, it's not dirt. Don't try and wipe it off.Β

Let's get into today's Daily Dose.Β
