The Daily Dose: Windy Wednesday Edition

The wind whipped and howled all day on Tuesday.

Driving around St. Peters, I saw siding from houses flapping in the breeze. At one point, with the windows down in my car, my sunglasses were blown off my face. It was a nice day when it was still, but that wasn't often.

Today? More of the same. Wind gust could hit the 40s. I guess I may need to invest in a kite. 

Anyway let's get start off this windy Wednesday with The Daily Dose.

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Thursday from the National Weather Service. 

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 20 mph increasing to between 25 and 28 mph. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph.

Wednesday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 54. Southwest wind between 8 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a high near 55. North wind between 8 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. North wind around 10 mph.
