Volunteers Get Perks, New Perspective at O'Fallon's Heritage & Freedom Fest
More than 200 volunteers are needed for O'Fallon's Fourth of July festival.
Volunteers are needed for O'Fallon's Heritage & Freedom Fest, the city's Independence Day celebration, July 2-4.
"We need over 200 volunteers to help out, whether it's guiding kids through the inflatable obstacle course, driving shuttles, directing people to the main stage, or offering a drink of water in the heat relief tent," Volunteer Services Manager Kathy Halstead said.
Families are encouraged to volunteer together and get the opportunity to see the festival from a whole new perspective.
Volunteers are needed to assist in the following areas:
- Kid’s Area crafts, games, inflatables
- Heat Relief Tent
- Information booth
- Free shuttle line
- Volunteer Hospitality Tent
- Ice delivery
- Parade lineup
