A FIRST: Yard Tours for Livin' the Green Life in St. Louis

St. Louis has people ahead of the curve in preserving the future, by living a sustainable present.

Sunday from 11 am - 4pm, people who are ahead of the curve in preserving the future—by living a sustainable present—have opened their gardens for observation.

This Green approach doesn't look painful or like deprivation at all. Instead, these winners speak of fresh food and cheaper utilities.

"The Sustainable Backyard Tour was conceived and organized by the owners of Home Eco, because we believe Sustainability, Conservation, Environmental Protection and Self Reliance starts at home—right in our own backyards," said Terry Winkelmann, of Home Eco.
