America's Incredible Pizza Co. Opens Behind Ronnie's Plaza
Enjoy a pizza buffet, go-karting, bumper cars, games, and laser tag at this Route 66-themed entertainment center. Around 8,000 people have visited the renovated Lindbergh Boulevard space before its Dec. 20 grand opening, staff said.
America's Incredible Pizza Co. recently invested $1.5 million to renovate the former Hammer's Food and Fun, 5254 S. Lindberg Blvd. The Crestwood-Sunset Hills, Affton, and South County Chambers of Commerce welcomed the rejuvenated pizza place and family entertainment center to Lindbergh Boulevard this week. It officially opens to the public on Dec. 20.
Some customers may remember the space was once called America's Incredible Pizza Co. The previous franchise owner broke away from AIC and opened as Hammer’s Food and Fun earlier this year, St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.Â
The 60,000 complex behind Ronnie's Plaza is vibrant with 1950s and Route 66 themes. The buffet includes pizza, pasta, other finger foods, soups, and desserts. In addition to several arcade games, challenge family members to a go-kart race, laser tag, bowling, bumper cars, or air hockey. (One Yelp reviewer called it "Salt for kids.")
