Apply for Open Lindbergh School District Board Spot
The recent appointment of Vic Lenz to the Missouri State Board of Education leaves a seat open on the board.

A Board of Education position is available at the Lindbergh School District following Gov. Jay Nixon’s appointment of Dr. Vic Lenz to the Missouri State Board of Education, the school district announced this week.Â
Missouri Board of Education members are not permitted to serve a school district board term concurrently, according to a news release from the school district.

Citizens who are interested in applying for the Board of Education may pick up an application packet at the Superintendent’s Office or request one electronically by sending an e-mail tolhecht@lindberghschools.ws.
To be eligible for the school board, a candidate must be a U.S. citizen, at least 24 years of age, a resident taxpayer in Lindbergh Schools and a Missouri resident for at least one year preceding election or appointment.

Candidates must complete and return an application by 5 p.m., July 9. The Board of Education will interview candidates for the vacancy at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.
