The City of Crestwood’s general municipal election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
On the ballot this year for all voters of Crestwood will be Proposition 1. A simple majority is required to pass the measure. The official ballot language is:

“Shall the City of Crestwood impose a fire protection sales tax of one-half of one percent (0.5%) (an increase of one-quarter of one percent (0.25%) above the current fire protection sales tax) for the purpose of providing revenues for the operation of the Crestwood Fire Department?”

Also on the ballot are four aldermanic seats, one for each of the City’s four wards. These candidates are running for a three-year term. They are as follows:
- Ward 1 - James Zavist
- Ward 2 - Mike Balles
- Ward 3 - Greg Hall
- Ward 4 - Tony Kennedy
- Ward 4 - Nicholas Ranciglio
