The sign is one of the few remaining neon signs along Route 66. The bowling alley was able to revive the sign with a $9,500 grant from the Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program. The restaurant has scheduled a public re-lighting ceremony for sunset on Oct. 20, according to Route 66 News.
