Crestwood Court Redevelopment: Board Setting Work Session Date

While the Crestwood Board of Aldermen rejected a planner for the Crestwood Court redevelopment proposal two weeks ago, they're showing a desire to move forward. Tuesday night Mayor Jeff Schlink resurrected Ward 3 Alderman Paul Duchild's suggestion to hold a public work session to discuss what they'd like to see revitalize the mall space.

No specific date was set Tuesday. Patch will update this story as more information is available.

An attempt to assemble the majority of the board for a work session on June 4 failed--though it didn't stop four board members from meeting to discuss redevelopment, according to a June 12 editorial in Call Newspapers.

Ward 1 aldermen Richard Breeding and Darryl Wallach, Ward 2 alderman Mary Stadter and Ward 4 alderman Dan Tennessen met at a Crestwood business during the time of the canceled work session, according to the editorial. Read more at Call Newspapers.
